Fox VS .223
Today I went to the shop with my wife and after dropping her off at her friends house I went home.
Just before I was home I saw this young fox limping about on the field so I drove home and got the .223 and headed back to where I saw the fox.
The fox was still there so I positioned myself as close I could get without walking in plain view.
I estimated the distance to be somewhat over 100 yards, it turned out to be 130 yards but with the flat trajectory of a .223
it didn't matter much :)
As I was at a higher position then the fox the exit wound does appear a bit low but it was an instant kill.
I must also mention I use a custom silencer which is fully legal here and allows me to shoot without worrying about my hearing,
or even worry about disturbing neighboars too much.
You will also notice from pics that the fox was indeed hurt in it's left front foot..
